Wayne’s going nowhere!

Two years ago Wayne Rooney had had enough with Manchester United and handed a transfer request in, now he is staying at Old Trafford for live, what has changed Wayne?
Although the lad is a talent he certainly knows how to throw his toys out of the pram when things aren’t going right for him. Back in September 2010 he told Sir Alex Ferguson he had had enough then two days later he signed a new contract. Wow Fergie! You are good at convincing someone to change their mind.
Rooney’s reasons back then was that that not enough big name players were coming to the club, I bet he ate his words this summer when he found out he would be leading the line upfront with Robin Van Persie.
Rooney voiced his concern with the lack of players coming into the club as he watched; along with the rest in the football world see the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea splash their cash all over Europe on big name players. Manchester United at the time couldn’t compete with these clubs as the financial situation with the much loved Glazers... yeah right, wasn’t exactly stable.
There is one thing with Manchester United though, is that they have an excellent manager who seems to be able to work season after season with the resources he has and therefore doesn’t need to spend money like mad in every transfer window.
Most season Manchester United win a trophy or two, or three, or even four and therefore they are consistently and currently the most successful English football club team.
It may have taken a while but Mr Rooney now realises he could have made a hasty decision had someone with a decent enough offer come in for him back in September 2010. Rooney is very thankful he didn’t move on and now he looks towards the future with the Red Devils.
Rooney also revealed he would like to in the future take a more midfield role within the club. Sir Alex Ferguson will potentially be able to do this as he has RVP, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez at his disposal. Wayne Rooney is a very creative player and his style would certainly suit a midfield role especially when he matures a bit and loses that sharpness.
But for goodness sake Wayne’s only young, surely we can’t already be hearing about Wayne losing his sharpness can we?
