Serie A legend settles his future

We have seen big name footballers transfer on big money moves to the United States, Russia and China in recent years but now we can add another country to that list; Australia.
That's right, Australia; land of cricket, rugby and Aussie rules but not really football, though the aforementioned countries are hardly footballing hotbeds either to be fair.
The first recruit of this Aussie football revolution (and maybe the only and last, who knows) is Alessandro Del Piero who has joined Sydney FC despite being linked with moves to Liverpool and Southampton.
After 19 years at Juventus, the icon was released in the summer and has been searching for a club ever since and is, according to Sky Sports, looking forward to a new challenge after winning pretty much everything the European leagues have to offer.
Del Piero signed for the club on a two year deal and his signing has been hailed as coup for not just Sydney but Australian football too by Sydney chief executive Tony Pignata.
