Mancini to give life to youngster

John Guidetti had been rumoured to be heading for the Etihad exit door and towards the man who signed him at Loftus Road.

This has been quashed as the 20-year-old has signed to extend his stay with Mancini's title winners. 

It was reported that Mark Hughes was keen to obtain the services of the hitman he brought to England when Andy Johnson damaged his cruiciate ligament in the West London clash with Chelsea.

Guidetti who hit 20 in 23 last season on loan at Feyenoord says that if he is to go on loan in January, it will be in the top flight somewhere, with Italy, Germany or Spain potential destinations.
