Aguero takes to Twitter to talk about his future

Following in the footsteps of Marouane Fellaini and his school of mixed messages, Sergio Aguero has joined in the fun and games.

Aguero was reported to have said in the aftermath of Manchester City's defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League that he would have joined the Spanish club if they had made a bid for him when he was leaving Atletico Madrid last summer.

However, Aguero has sought to clarify rumours about his future by taking to Twitter to say he is happy in Manchester and it was the best decision he had made to join City according to the BBC.

The Argentinian has impressed in his time in England, notching 30 goals in his debut season which saw City win the Premier League title.

The 24-year-old is contracted until 2016 at the Etihad but confirmed his commitment to the club.

He added on Twitter that he feels comfortable and appreciated at City and wants to continue working on the project there.
