Players disappointed at lack of action at market

Jonjo Shelvey has today told TalkSport that Liverpool's failure to replace Geordie gentleman Andy Carroll left a lot of players unhappy at the club.
Liverpool's desperate attempts to sign a striker even in the free market fell on deaf years as Michael Owen and Alessandro Del Piero both moved elsewhere. Still, at least now it means less players for Brendan Rodgers to impose his unique style of play on his players.
“...we haven't got a plan b. We can't lump it up the pitch because we haven't got the kind of player to do that.”.
Oh.
