    Over to you Pep?

Sir Alex Ferguson was spotted in New York meeting with former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola. Fergie was on holiday in New York and whilst he was in the US he met with Pep Guardiola apparently by chance.

The Manchester United boss also took time to support his fellow countrymen at flushing meadows as he was present to see Andy Murray claim his first major title. Mr Fergie certainly had a busy break in New York as he took advantage of the international break in the Premier League season.

As for Pep Guardiola. It is understood he is in the US to improve his English dialect; The Spaniard is improving his English with the possibility of managing in England in the future.

As Fergie turns 71 in December there is only a matter of time before The Red Devils will need to search for a new manager, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are the two favourites to surpass Sir Alex Ferguson.

United sources insist that Fergie met with Pep by chance and that nothing was planned and both men didn’t speak about Pep taking over the reins once the Scot retires.
