Liverpool look for Reina competition.

Following a poor start to the season, it appears Brendan Rodgers is interested in adding a goalkeeper to challenge for Pepe Reina’s starting spot.
Since his arrival in 2005, Reina has never really had competition for his jersey; however Liverpool are apparently chasing Borussia Monchengladbach’s young goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The 20 year old played a key part in Monchengladbach’s brilliant season last year, as the German side qualified for the Champions League.
Ter Stegen has frequently been compared to his idol Oliver Kahn and it’s fair to say if he is half as good as him then Liverpool fans would welcome his addition.
Despite his tender age Ter Stegen has already won two German caps and, like Reina, is a very good distributor, meaning he'll fit perfect with Rodgers philosophy
