Under pressure Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina won’t be leaving the club in the New Year, according to his agent. The usually reliable Spaniard has come under increased scrutiny following a series of high profile gaffes in recent months, including allowing Santi Cazorla’s effort to squirm under him in the Reds recent 2-0 defeat with Arsenal.

Reports suggest that the hairless keeper will seek a move away from Anfield over the coming weeks, but talkSPORT are claiming that his agent has denied the rumours that he has asked to leave the club.

However, despite Reina’s agent denying the speculation, it won’t stop Liverpool from selling the Spain international, with Michel Vorm just one being linked with a move to Anfield should his performances not improve quickly.
