Bentley wants to remain in the Motherland

David Bentley's loan move to FC Rostov of Russia was one of the more eyebrow raising moves of the summer window, but it seems you might have to get used to Bentley being on a Tintin style adventure in Mother Russia.
It is worth a minute to remind you that Bentley is actually still alive and is still a Tottenham player, in case you had forgotten who he was.
Bentley is initially in Rostov until Christmas on a temporary deal, though with it being cold all year round out there, it might be hard for him to see when Christmas actually is.
However, the former England winger would consider staying out in Russia if he enjoys the vodka and the fish, more so the football of course, with the 28 year old telling Sky Sports that if things work out footballing-wise, he will see from there.
Ex-Blackburn midfielder Bentley has been on loan at Birmingham and West Ham after falling out of favour at White Hart Lane and the midfielder, even though he held out a little hope for another chance under Andre Villas-Boas, feels his time in London may be over.
