      Dutch influence at Swansea increases

Any injury is a bad injury but some injuries have bigger impacts than others and this effect is enhanced by the transfer window system.

The horrific injury to Swansea full back Neil Taylor could not have come at a worse time for the club just after the transfer window shammed shut.

As a result, the Swans have had to make a dip into the freebie transfer market, full of players who may be available on a free with good reason.

Swansea have signed up Dutch left-back Dwight Tiendalli, subject to Premier League and international clearance according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old was released by FC Twente last summer and completed a medical at the Liberty Stadium yesterday.

He will join up with former teammates Michel Vorm, Jonathan De Guzman and Kemy Agustien.
