PSG want Cole?

He is the ultimate player fans love to hate but PSG would love to have Cashley, sorry, Ashley Cole .

Chelsea fans stuck by him, but football fans around England love to boo the England man. There is little doubt that Ashley Cole has been England's best left back for years. In fact, I am sure that if he wasn't English he would be much more appreciated by fans in England.

Carlo Ancelotti wants to add the former Arsenal star to his impressive team assembly with the help of Middle Eastern money. Ancelotti, who managed Cole at Chelsea before he was given the boot by Roman Abramovich, is keen on taking the left back to Paris.

Much like his Chelsea team mate, John Terry, Cole has a little trouble keeping out of trouble. And much like his club Captain, there can be no fair criticisms of his performances on the pitch.

Okay, Arsenal fans are still hurt after he left for more money but was he the first? No. Or last? No. And he may have angered people by calling Arsenal's offer of £55,000 a week as a slap in the face. And he may have cheated on the nation's sweetheart, and his wife, Cheryl Cole.

And, okay, he might have once have used social media where he claimed he hated England and all the people in it. And he may have derided Arsenal fans for not singing his name in his last ever game for the Gunners, as they chose to sing the name of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry instead. And he may have irresponsibly shot a student with a gun...actually come to think of it, PSG are welcome to him.

Apparently PSG want to pay him £200,000 a week. What a kick in the teeth, eh, Cashley?
