All the money in the world and you buy who?

If I had all the money in the entire world available to me, I would absolutely buy the best of the best and not someone who is over the hill.
Then again, perspective is a funny old thing and everyone has their own views about what actually constitutes 'the best'.
But I think its quite clear that Inter Milan right back is no longer classed in 'the best' category.
However, in the Guardian, Manchester City are being linked with a move for the Brazilian for a fee of around £4.7million.
The paper reports that Roberto Mancini is keen on the right back to strengthen his defensive options with Micah Richards currently injured and the club moving towards a 3-4-3 formation that Maicon would be more suited to than Mancini's current options.
The Italian worked with Maicon when he was in charge of Inter and with the Brazilian down to one year left on his contract, the reunion could be on.
