Where is Michael GOwen?

Having grown up watching Michael Owen, if you would’ve told me he’d struggle to find a club, I would’ve questioned your sanity. Watching him score a ridiculous amount of goals for club and country, during the peak of his career, he was one of the world’s deadliest strikers.

Whilst Owen’s best years are certainly behind him, he hasn’t lost his finishing ability that made him one of the most sought after strikers; however that extra yard of pace he once had, has gone and having warmed the Manchester United bench for three years, Premier League sides aren’t willing to gamble on someone who hasn’t played regular football since 2009.

Stoke, Everton, Aston Villa and Norwich have all been linked with a move for the 2001 Ballon D’Or winner, and whilst Owen has regularly tweeted he is close to securing a move, he still doesn’t have a club.
