Songs Of Praise For Toon-Star Tioté

Arsenal gaffer Arsene Wenger is set to harmonize his midfield by swooping for Magpies’ bulky African Cheick Tioté.
Wenger is still whining about Tiote’s equaliser at St James’ Park for Newcastle against the Frenchman’s Arsenal side, but he is willing to forgive him as long as Tiote puts pen to paper at The Emirates. Perhaps leaving a bad impression is better than leaving no impression at all, eh?
Arsenal have recently lost Cameroonian Alex Song to Spanish giants Barcelona, for a measly fee of around €15m, and the 26 year old Ivorian tops Wenger’s list to replace the man with the golden hair.
Although Tioté has a forehead the size of a melon, his style of play is far from fruity. His broad frame provides him with the steely strength Arsenal so desperately need in the centre of the field, and he possesses the rare trait of being able to leave opponents in a mess, both on the pitch and in their pants!
Will the pair form a duet before the transfer window slams shut?
