City's Sinclair swoop set for conclusion

As we count down towards the end of the transfer window, there are the same sort of signs that one seems as we count down towards Christmas Day.
Essentially, targets/presents look more and more appealing as the end of the window/ Christmas Day gets closer and closer.
This might well explain why Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Scott Sinclair who will sign for the club tomorrow according to the Daily Mail.
Don't get me wrong, Sinclair is quite a good player but one does indeed wonder why City would want to sign him unless it is that time of year when aforementioned targets look more and more attractive.
The Mail reports that Sinclair will sign for City for £6.2million with rumours intensifying after the player was left out of Swansea's squad to play West Ham this week.
Roberto Mancini has said he will hope the deal will go through before Friday while Michael Laudrup was more philosophical about the deal insisting that Sinclair may go but if he does not, he will still be in his plans at the Liberty Stadium.
