United confirm Pogba departure

Manchester United have confirmed that midfielder Paul Pogba has signed for Serie A champions Juventus.

The Frenchman’s future has been subject to intense speculation in recent weeks, with the Turin giants linked with the youngster’s signature in recent weeks.

Juventus have now sealed the signing of the 19-year-old, who had spent three years at Old Trafford following his switch from Le Havre.

Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has since aimed a swipe at Pogba, accusing the young France star of not showing the club ‘any respect at all’.

"Paul Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we're aware," Ferguson told MUTV.

"It's disappointing. I don't think he showed us any respect at all. To be honest, if they carry on that way, they're probably better doing it away from us."
