Black Cats secure Cuellar

Sunderland have completed the signing of former Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar on a free transfer.
The Spaniard was released by the Villains at the end of the season after the Midlands side opted against renewing his contract.
And Sunderland have acted swiftly to secure the signature of the 30-year-old, beating off a host of competition from Olympiakos, Osasuna and Valencia.
He becomes Martin O’Neill’s first summer signing, the man responsible for bringing Cuellar to England in the first place.
The centre-back, who is comfortable at right-back, made 120 appearances for Villa during his four years at the club.
