Modric suitor convinced he'll capture the Croat

It is a question that has plagued football fans for weeks; just what is more tedious, the Robin van Persie transfer saga or the one concerning Luka Modric?

Well, I can't offer much else in providing a judgement on it but I can help sway the argument one way or another by saying that more gossip about Luka Modric has come out today.

The Guardian reports today that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is convinced that the Croatian will end up at Spain when the saga comes to an end.

Perez has told friends that he is supremely confident of sealing the deal according to the story.

PSG are also thought to be interested in the midfielder and are thought to have contacted his representatives but they remain outsiders to secure his signature with Modric keen on a move to Madrid.

After rejecting a bid from Chelsea for £40million last summer, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has effectively set his price for the player but Real are hoping they can reduce the prize paid up front with a series of add-ons put into the deal.
