Yet another busy day at Spurs

Andre Villas-Boas' time short time at Spurs has so far been littered with hectic news, to the extent even that it would not be a normal business day without documenting the day's events at White Hart Lane.
Today is just a repetitive day at the office for the workaholic Villas-Boas as he does his best to keep media teams and keyboards busy with a steady flow of news in north London.
The latest Spurs player on the agenda is Rafael Van Der Vaart who, according to the Independent, has told German newspaper BILD that he will remain at Tottenham, dismissing the evergreen gossip linking him with Bundesliga club Hamburg as "just rumours".
Talksport however have reported now-Hamburg director Frank Arnesen as suggesting a deal for the Dutch attacking midfielder as "impossible" in German publication Kicker, so that reluctance, partnered with Van Der Vaart's own desire to remain at White Hart Lane, means he will remain in the white of Spurs for the upcoming season.
If he does stay, he will play alongside Emmanuel Adebayor again after the Togolese striker turned his loan move into a permanent one from Manchester City in a £6 million deal.
Adebayor hit 18 goals in all competitions for Spurs last season and after finally being allowed to leave the shackles of his contract at Eastlands, he will join Villas-Boas' busy new regime as his third signing, following Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen through the entrance.
