    Grayson Wants More

Huddersfield Town boss Simon Grayson has announced he is not finished with new signings after the ‘brilliant’ addition of Sean Scannell.

Since making his debut in 2007 Sean Scannell has made 141 appearances and scored 13goals for Crystal Palace. Scannell will be hoping his move will earn him a more regular starting role than he held at Selhurst Park last season.

21 year old Scannell joined Huddersfield on a 3 year deal on Friday of last week. The Terriers made the announcement on their official website, “Simon Grayson has today agreed his first capture of the summer after tying up a three year deal for Crystal Palace winger Sean Scannell.”

Grayson led Huddersfield to promotion following a penalty shootout victory in the League 1 Play-Off Final over Sheffield United and is hoping to add further improvements to his squad.

This summer transfer window represents the first real opportunity for Shaun Grayson to put his own stamp on the squad after succeeding Lee Clark in February.

On Scannell’s signing and future transfer activity Grayson told the club’s official website “we are delighted to welcome Sean to the club, he is a brilliant addition.”

“We have been working hard on a number of targets and hopefully we will be able to get a few more tied up over the next couple of days.”

“He is an exciting, young, talented footballer who is very adaptable. He can play on either wing or just off the striker, he offers great options.”

“Despite his young age he brings bags of experience at both Championship and international level and hopefully he will be able to fulfil his potential with us.”

“it wasn’t long ago that a lot of top-class clubs were taking a look at him so we are delighted to now have him amongst our ranks.
