    West Brom target crisis clubs

West Bromwich Albion are looking to take advantage of two different situations to boost their squad over the summer in some key positions according to two different stories in the Daily Mail

The first story believes that the Black Country club are lining up a bid for Tottenham Hotspur left back or left midfielder Danny Rose to take the youngster on a loan deal to the Hawthorns.

However, Newcastle United are also interested in the player from a club who is still uncertain about his future due to the departure of Harry Redknapp.

Meanwhile, the second story hints that West Brom are keen to take advantage of the uncertainty over the future of Rangers by picking up some cheap signings from the Ibrox club as the debate over their SPL future rages.

The Mail reports that West Brom and Everton too are keen on Steven Naismith and Steven Whittaker from Rangers after the pair rejected the transfer of their contracts from Rangers to the newco that it is hoped will replace Rangers in the Scottish league structure.

The Rangers pair now see themselves as free agents but the dispute is set to continue with the newco set to contest any player that rejects the offer of a contract believing that the outcome would be a breach of contract by players that reject the offer.
