    Holt wants out

More on the exodus of talented people from Norwich now, Canaries fans are probably beginning to resign themselves to losing back to back promotion winning manager, Paul Lambert to Aston Villa. It appears they may have to do the same with top goal scorer, Grant Holt.

After rocking Carrow Road last week by handing in a transfer request which was promptly rejected, the Cumbrian has not been deterred in his bid to exit the Norfolk club.

The 31 year old is reported to be at loggerheads with chief executive, David McNally according to football365.

Earlier this week, the number 9 was rumoured to be considering signing a new long term deal at Norwich; however after unproductive talks he has reaffirmed his desire to quit.

'Just to stop the rumour mill again. I have expressed to the board and the CEO that I want to leave the football club. Due to disagreements.' Holt tweeted.

'I have loved my 3 years at the club and it sadness me to right this but want use to here it from me first. #lovedmytime.'

Clearly his goalscoring ability is more impressive than his spelling, and it is former that may tempt Paul Lambert to take his captain to Villa Park with him, Holt using Twitter to deny any bust up with the Scot.

'Can I just say the rumours about me and the gaffer falling out are very wrong so no more tweets about that please.'

Holt scored 15 goals in 36 games for the East Anglian outfit last season, which led to clamours for the 6 foot striker to receive a call up to Roy Hodgson's England squad for Euro 2012.
