Wolves reject Hammers Jarvis bid

Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected a bid, believed to be £4m, from West Ham United for winger Matt Jarvis.
The once-capped England man has been heavily linked with a move away from Wolves after their relegation was confirmed last season.
Hammers manager Sam Allardyce is keen to bolster his squad ahead of the new campaign following their return to the Premiership and has earmarked Jarvis as a possible arrival.
However, it now appears the Midlands have rejected an initial approach as they look to hold onto their best players in order to bounce back into the Premiership next season.
"We are not naive. We know clubs will want our best players but we are ready to do battle with anyone. In some ways, there's nothing I enjoy more," chief executive Jez Moxey told the Express and Star.
It remains to be seen as to whether West Ham will return with a second offer for the player, who is contracted to Molineux until 2015.
