      Snodgrass to decide future

With Neil Warnock planning for a bright future at Leeds, the last thing he wants is to lose his star midfielder to the prying eyes of the Premier League, so it is understandable the club are desperate to tie Robert Snodgrass down to a new deal with due haste.

The Yorkshire Post have reported that Leeds have offered their 24 year old captain a new deal that would make him the highest paid player at the club, but Snodgrass isn’t willing to rush into things as fast as the club.

The Scotsman told the Yorkshire Post that it is his family that matters most and he needs to consult them before committing to anything beyond the final year of his contract at Elland Road. Snodgrass has one year left at Leeds before he is due to be a free-man again.

The talented midfielder has hit 14 goals this season for Leeds and he told the Yorkshire Post that he hopes to push on next season to build a successful campaign for Warnock’s new era, but with him refusing to commit long term, Leeds are beginning to get a squeaky bum over his constant link to the Premier League, as noted by Sky Sports.

Snodgrass was closely linked to a move to Norwich last summer and only discord between the two clubs over the fee prevented him from making the trip down to East Anglia, but he says those closest to him will be spoken to regarding any future decision, as he remains at Leeds for the time being.

Snodgrass also told the Yorkshire Post that Warnock has already set about bringing a few players in and they will come to light in the next few weeks, while Snodgrass himself, takes a break and puts his feet up, mulling over his long term future in Yorkshire.
