Leicester target 6 wins

Leicester City manager, Nigel Pearson, has said that it will take his club 6 wins for them to clinch a play off place.

Having been beaten 1-0 by Midlands rivals Peterborough United on Saturday, the Foxes are 7 points off the top 6 with only half a dozen games remaining.

The former Hull boss acknowledges that it's a big ask for the pre season promotion contenders to claim a hallowed play off berth.

'It is seven points now and, at this stage, that is an awful lot to do.

'We just seem unable to take that vital opportunity after getting ourselves back into contention and that is frustrating.

'I know we have had a hectic March, but so has everyone else. Sometimes you have to force the result. We probably need to win all of them now.

'The disappointment is heightened by the fact we are so close to the end of the season and we have been fighting hard to get back in touch with the play-off places.'
