      Bristol defensive heroes return home

In a similar way to how superheroes (or indeed criminals for that matter) leave the scene of their exploits as to ensure their identity remains hidden, two loanees at Bristol City have left the club to return to their parent clubs after their successful roles in “Operation; get us the hell out of those relegation places”.

Full back Jordan Spence has returned to his parent club West Ham a week before his season-long loan was to end officially as City manager Derek McInnes gave him permission to return as the Hammers may win promotion to the Premier League this weekend.

The 21-year-old West Ham Academy graduate (who has played at every level of the England youth teams) made 11 appearances for the Robins in their successful battle to avoid the drop to League One.

The other player to return to his parent club a week early is central defender Andre Amougou who, under the terms of his loan deal from Burnley, would have been ineligible to play against his parent club who City travel to on the final day of the season this Saturday.

Amougou, who used to be called Andre BIkey who you may remember for doing mad stuff like this and this, appeared seven times for the Ashton Gate outfit, never experiencing defeat whilst in the red shirt of City.
