Arsenal tempt M'Vila


Arsene Wenger could be set to sign yet another youngster from his native France after 21-year old defensive midfielder Yann M’Vila revealed his desire to join a top European club with Arsenal being singled out as one of three potential destinations.
Wenger, whose success since his arrival in north London in 1997 has been famed upon signing one or two French coups during his time with the names Thierry Henry, Patrick Viera and Sylvain Wiltord rolling of the tongue. Along with more recent recruits Abou Diaby, Bacary Sagna and Laurent Koscielny, and now M’Vila could be toasted as the new crème de la crème at the Emirates Stadium.
M’Vila who currently plys his trade at Ligue 1 outfit Rennes has 18 senior French caps to his name along with one goal, and the rising star could be taking the short journey across the English Channel to link up with Wenger at Arsenal after admitting the club take his fancy.
However the Gunners will have to fight tooth and nail to secure the services of the player after he also revealed his desire to play for either Inter Milan or Real Madrid awell.
"Inter, Arsenal, Real...I will take the fun everywhere!," M'Vila told Canal +.
"These are great clubs. If the coach calls you and tells you he wants you to make you play, especially a French coach, it changes everything.
"The important thing for me is getting playing time for the France team."
With speculation being rife Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho contacted the player with regards to a switch to Spain’s capital M’Vila was quick to rubbish such suggestions.
"Mourinho calling me? He does not even have my number," laughed-off M'Vila
"But play at Real? Yeah, it would be an absolute blast! It would be great to play with Kaka and [Karim] Benzema."
