Vokes yearns for longer Seagull stay

Possibly the most well travelled man in English football the last two seasons has expressed his desire to cease living out of a suitcase and be able to manufacture a buttock-groove in a sofa that is his own and not that of a rental property.
Sam Vokes, who has been to the four corners of England pretty much in his various loan spells from his parent club Wolves, has spoken to BBC Sussex of his wish to stay longer term at his current club Brighton. This might also have something to do with the fact that the South Coast club have more of a chance of playing the Premier League next year than the Black Country outfit but that’s just one making a value judgement.
Vokes said; “I've had a few clubs this season but I like it down here. There's a feeling that there are big things to come. I can't say too much but it's a great club. I'm enjoying it."
The Wales international has hit the net three times in his 12 games for the Seagulls and not experienced defeat in the League in his spell at the club as they’re push for promotion has gathered pace.
The 22-year old added "To play games and score goals is what you want as a striker. If I can carry that on and help the boys get promoted it will be massive. Obviously I keep an eye on Wolves and like to think they keep an eye on me. We'll see what happens at the end of the season”
Since his move to Wolves in 2008, Vokes has been on loan at six different clubs, five in the last two seasons and only played 46 times for Wolves in his time at the club.
Regular first team football and a desire to cut down on his petrol bill are the two very probable and very understandable reasons for Vokes’ apparent desire to make his deal at Brighton permament.
