Hughton's Foster-ing rebuttal

Widely regarded as ‘one of the nicest men in football’, Chris Hughton sounds (by which I mean if one reads his quotes in angry voice) almost annoyed at another nice man regarding his quotes about a goalkeeper.
West Brom manager Roy Hodgson suggested last week that he would like to get his goalkeeping situation sorted out before the start of summer so he doesn’t have to run around looking for a new keeper, in so doing possibly wasting precious time, petrol and notebooks in doing so.
Currently, Albion’s keeper is Ben Foster who went on loan there last summer from Birmingham in some kind of ‘take my keeper’ deal with Boaz Myhill going the other way.
However, with both deals due to expire this summer, Hodgson put forward his feelings on the situation as did Foster who wants his long term future resolved as quickly as possible.
However, Hughton rebutted the statements and is adamant there is no rush to hold talks between the three parties over Foster’s destination for next season, particularly as the Blues boss has a rather important promotion campaign taking up approximately 99% of his time right now.
He told the Daily Mirror; "I was surprised at Roy's comments, because there haven't been any talks between the two clubs recently. We're all aware of the fact that Ben Foster is our goalkeeper so dialogue will have to take place at some stage. But there haven't been any talks of late and it will be addressed at the right time. We are pushing for the play-offs and it is very dependent on ourselves."
