      Nick Montgomery prolongs Millwall spell

Nick Montgomery has signed a loan deal that will keep him at The Den until the end of the season.

The Sheffield United midfielder made his debut for the Lions last Tuesday night, as a 88th minute substitute in the 3-0 win at Doncaster Rovers.

With Liam Trotter, Therry Racon and Tamika Mkandawire all currently injured, Kenny Jackett lured the 30 year old from South Yorkshire to South London to shore up the Lions midfield between now and the end of the season.

Montgomery has made 395 appearances for the Blades since 2000.
