A new Tyke in town

Barnsley have signed up Corey Smith on-loan until the end of the season.

The Norwich City midfielder has been so impressive Tykes manager Keith Hill have chosen to extend the deal, originally signed in January just for a period of one month.

Naturally enough, the player started the charm offensive with the club's official website as soon as he put pen to paper, stating how much he was enjoying life at Oakwell-

"I'm really enjoying my time here," Smith told the club's official website.

"I'm looking forward to carrying on my work with Keith Hill and David Flitcroft, continuing to develop and gaining some more experience.

"Hopefully I can play my part and help get some points on the board."
