      Try before you buy

'I'm proud to sign for the Bulgarian Real Madrid' said a thrilled Carlos Diogo as he completed his transfer to CSKA Sofia last month.

The former Real Zaragoza man seemed all set to undergo a successful career in The Balkans but cut back this present day......where is he?

The 28 year-old suddenly decided after 15 days that life in South-Eastern Europe wasn't for him, in what has become one of the most bizarre transfers ever.

"We see no reason to keep him in Bulgaria against his wish," said CSKA's chief executive Ventsislav Zhivkov.

It appears that the Uruguayan international made his decision to vacate the currently snowy region as fast he decided to move their in the first place.

He now seems set to move back to the much milder South American climate and the chances are he'll make it past the three week stage at is new employers.

It appears that the policy of 'try before you buy' is availble for modern day footballers as well now.
