The Leeds web continues to grow

Neil Warnock has made Danny Webber one of his first signings at Elland Road, with the striker penning a deal until the end of the season.

The new Leeds United boss has enticed Webber back into his web for a second time after managing him whilst at the helm of QPR.

The 30 year-old forward is one of those names that was always expected to be a big player in the English game, but seems to have fallen by the wayside in recent seasons, the short-term contract he has just signed manifesting out of this.

Whilst Leeds fans can now count the ex-Watford man as one of their own, they cannot do the same for Tottenham loanee Andros Townsend, who felt that Elland Road wasn't the place for him and chose to return to his parent club.

Warnock is confident is team will be a succes this season as they aim to put the Yorkshire giants back in the Championship play-off picture-

"I know the player well and he'll be good to have around the place." he said.
