Belgium star fancys a move to the Lane

What is it with young Belgium starlets and wanting to move to North London? First Eden Hazard declared his love of Tottenham and now defensive star Jan Vertonghen has echoed these thoughts.
The Ajax captain was watched by Harry Redknapp as his Eredivisie employers defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford last week with the 24 year-old impressing.
Vertonghen is widely expected to make the move away from Amsterdam at the end of this season, with a host of top European sides vying for his signiature, with Spurs appearing as the prefered choice of the Belgium international-
"To play for a team in the Premier League would be amazing and that's what I'm going for." he said.
"I think Tottenham are an amazing club and you can see how well they're doing this season.
"They are in the top three in England and that's where I want to play."
