Reds watching £7m man

Reports in Germany today are suggesting Liverpool are readying a £7m move for Hertha Berlin midfielder Raffael, with manager Kenny Dalglish a bid admirer of the 26-year-old.
Dalglish is convinced that Brazilian attacking midfielder has what it takes to secure Champions League football next season, with the Merseyside giants set to miss out on Europe’s elite competition for a third successive season.
The Reds have failed to live up to their high expectations set out to them at the beginning of the season following a big money summer spree saw them bring in the likes of Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson.
However, eight home 0-0 draws has seen them fall way behind the pace in the hunt for a top four finish with Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal all ahead of Liverpool in the Premiership.
And the Scottish manager believes Raffael can provide the necessary goal threat for the new season with a title push thought to be the top priority for the Liverpool hierarchy.
The club will have to move quickly if they are to land the former FC Zurich and Chiasso star however with Lazio and Sampdoria both interesting in move for the un-capped Brazilian.
