If you want Michu, you’ll have to splash the cash!

Michael Laudrup has sent out a clear message to the rest of the footballing world ahead of the January transfer window.
He has stated that if anyone considers buying Swansea star striker Michu they will have to pay at least £30 million for him.
Back in the summer Laudrup paid Rayo Vallecano £2 million for his services and since then he has been one of the most prolific strikers in the Premiership this season.
His display against Arsenal outlined how good he can be as he scored 2 late goals to earn Swansea an away win. Michu has scored 10 goals in 15 games for Swansea and Laudrup doesn’t want a club with massive spending power to come in and rob him of his prize asset.
Michu has been a hit in the Premiership but not just for his goals, his unique celebration of waving his hand over one of his ears is certainly a trademark to him.
With his current record Laudrup doesn’t want a repeat of what happened when Liverpool signed Joe Allen, so his theory of putting a heavy price tag on him will mean that if someone does risk paying £30 million then at least Swansea have more than enough money for a replacement.
