CFR Cluj's Sougou to go to the Premier League? Watch out Mr Downing

According to the Daily Mail a host of Premier League clubs are watching the Senegalese international Modou Sougou. The CFR Cluj player will be on show tonight as his team travel to Manchester to face Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Champions League. Cluj have everything to play for tonight as a win will take them through to the knockout stages on goal difference.
Representatives from Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Newcastle, Swansea and Norwich are expected to be in attendance this evening along with people from the Championship's Bolton. They have been alerted not only by the 27-year-old winger's performances but also because he has admitted that he wishes to leave the club in January and having a Portuguese passport a work permit should be easy to obtain.
Sougou has played eleven games for the Romanian Divizia A club and has scored once but in the Champions League he has played eight games, scored four goals and provided three assists. It is thought that he will be available for around £2 million.
Champions League experience, goals and assists for £2 million. Stewart Downing's agent must be horrified, based on that you could buy Stewart for the price of a bag of chips and a can of shandy.
