Arsenal look to Championship winger

Apart from his dodgy eyesight and his lengthy, waterproof jackets, Arsene Wenger is renowned for his ability to spot a gem-of-a-player from an early age, but would this move be one of desperation from the wily Frenchman?
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott were both plucked from the depths of the football league to become integral parts of the Arsenal squad that are now so widely frowned upon, and even the likes of Carl Jenkinson has made the jump to the Premier League as a regular starter, however, there is a difference between the trio I have just mentioned and the newest target for Arsene Wenger, and that is the stage of their careers.
When Walcott pulled on the Arsenal shirt for the first time he was just 16-years old and the Ox was also still a teen, but when the Metro reported that Wenger had his eye cast on 21-year-old Leicester Winger Anthony Knockaert, there will have been sighs of discontent around the Emirates Stadium.
Of course I am not saying that the young lad couldn't be a success if he were to make a move to the capital, but from the days of Arsenal boasting the likes of Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp in their attack, splashing £5m on a 21-year old who is yet to fully establish himself in England's second tier, to me, signifies that Arsenal's rapidly-increasing decline from a Premier League title challenge will take a major shake-up to repair.
