      Boswinga on his way out

QPR manager Harry Redknapp has indicated that full back Jose Boswinga may never play for him again following the player's refusal to sit on the bench against Fulham.

The Sun reports that the former Chelseaman, who won a Champions League winner's medal last season, was fined £130,00 following his unwillingness to even sit on the bench for QPR's league game against Fulham a week ago.

With the January transfer window coming up this incident could spell the end for Boswinga's time at QPR.

Redknapp said in his press conference ahead of QPR's boxing day game against West Brom: "Boswinga said, "I don't want to sit on the bench". He thinks he is too good to sit on the bench. That is what disturbs me in this game."

The former Spurs manager, who replaced Mark Hughes, is trying to turn things around following QPR's worst start to a season ever.

With wealthy owner Tony Fernandes willing to provide funds, Redknapp will use the January transfer window to bolster his squad and aim to keep the West London from the drop.
