Could another Englishman be heading to the Etihad?

It has been one of the most talked about transfers of the season and now it appears Man City are the front runners going after Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.

Arsene Wenger is desperately trying to get Walcott to sign a new deal as his current one runs out at the end of the season. But time is running out and soon Wenger will have to get the message that Walcott may want to leave and it appears City are going to raid the club again.

City’s Sporting Director Txiki Begiristain has been a long-term admirer of young Theo, ever since he saw Walcott play against Barcelona the club that Begiristain was once the Sporting Director of he knew the lad was special and had talent.

As he is only 23 there is much promise of Walcott and his ability that should last for many more years. His best asset is his frightening pace and in front of goal he is pretty handy too.

After all Man City are after a right sided player that has pace to fill in the gap they have there at the moment. The aspect of the transfer that will fall in favour of City is the wage demand Walcott wants. The £100,000 a week wage bill will be like peanuts for the owners at the Etihad.
