The Reds become favourites to land Bilbao man

Liverpool have emerged as the favourites in the wagers to sign Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente. It is one to hottest topic of conversation for this transfer window as it appears the forward is finally going to be leaving his beloved Bilbao.
Originally the Reds were 10/11 to sign Llorente and now they are 4/6 odds on to sign the Spaniard who has displayed for years why he is a hot prospect to sign.
Llorente has been available after being left out of the team at Bilbao as he is refusing to sign a new contract at the club.
The ‘Bilbao Legend’ as he is known as in Spain scored 29 goals last season. He currently has 82 goals for the club and has played over 200 matches for Bilbao. His international career hasn’t really been that great as for so many Spanish players if they don’t fit in the system they don’t play and Llorente is one of those unfortunate players who fit into the category.
Liverpool are certainly in need of some strikers to fill in the gaps within the squad to ensure they don’t rely solely on Luis Suarez just in case he would to get injured.

I hope Liverpool succeed in signing Llorente and also move to secure the services of Benat Etxeberria from Real Betis and Francisco Alarcon Isco of Malaga. They can then have the means for a ECL push and mount a serious title challenge next season.
