      Spurs in for French striker

AVB has his eye on the young striker from Montpellier who last season was voted France’s young player of the year.

Younes Belhanda known as a bit of a playmaker may be heading to White Hart Lane in January. Belhanda has attracted much attention from Premier league clubs but Spurs seem favourites to land the young Moroccan after failing to land Joao Moutinho.

The young player has scored 8 goals in the first half of the season but at the same time he has been a vital player in creating chances for his side.

Belhanda’s coach compares him with Robert Pires. If he is half as good as Pires was at Arsenal then Spurs would certainly be happy with spending the £10 million asking price.

In his early days as a professional footballer he represented France at youth levels, before he made the decision to play for his native country of Morocco, and he later made his professional appearance in 2010.

The play promises a lot after scoring 12 in 28 last season and going into this season he has now bagged his first international goal, at 22 he has a bright future ahead of him either in the French league or Premier league.
