    Turan to run to Rodgers?

Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan has signalled that he could be on his way out of Spain alerting Brendan Rodgers.  The Liverpool manager is apparently looking for a winger to replace Stewart Downing who has been told he can leave the club in the January transfer window or as soon as is humanly possible.  Poor Stewart, I think that he has done a great job at Liverpool and I'll be sad to see him go.

The Turkish international's agent has said in the Daily Star that "He (Arda Turan) wants a different experience."  Well, Atletico Madrid are second in La Liga and play exciting, fast, flowing football and have a good chance of winning trophies this year and Liverpool bought Jordan Henderson for £20 million, so yes, it'll be a different experience for sure.

The 25-year-old midfielder has played fifteen games and scored four goals in La Liga and has provided seven assists this season.  He has played for his country fifty seven times and scored twelve goals.

Atletico are flying in the league at the moment and sit above their city rivals Real.  However if all of the rumours are to be believed they won't have any strikers left at the club next year.
