Arsenal defender a wanted man in Italy

A deafening roar has just erupted from the direction of the Emirates stadium as Arsenal fans hear the news that Johan Djourou could be heading to Napoli next month.

First the good news- the Swiss liability has accepted that his future at Arsenal is no more and is on the lookout for a move abroad to establish the excuse of a career that he once had, with Italy being his favoured destination according to his agent.

Now for the bad news- The defenders representative has revealed that there has been no contact from any club whatsoever, so the departure from Arsenal is no closer than it was at the start of the season when he was seemingly close to an exit.

If you were a chairman of a top European club, would you really be happy splashing the tens of thousands of pounds that he will surely be demanding, considering the largely pathetic levels of performances he has turned in during his time in London?

His nonexistent composure whilst on the ball and his turd-esque positioning off it has contributed to him becoming something of a joke in the footballing world and gooners everywhere will be raising a glass in hope this actually happens.
