Mancini Names His Man

Roberto Mancini has met new director of football Txiki Begiristan for the first time this week, and has ordered him “get me De Rossi!”

Manchester City chased Roma captain Danielle De Rossi last summer but the midfielder snubbed any advances to remain with his hometown club.

Now, however, a move looks to be back on, The Daily Mail look at Roma General Manager Franco Baldini’s admission ‘should an offer arrive for him, we’ll consider it’.

Who knows, that might even cheer Mancini up.
