Arsene Wenger is already lining up a replacement target if he is beaten to Crystal Palace’s sought after winger Wilfried Zaha.

The 19 year old is also being chased by Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham. As it happens Wenger’s second choice, according to The Daily Mirror, is a Spurs old boy.

Temperamental QPR winger Adel Taarabt has been highlighted as the tricky winger with youth on his side that Arsenal are seeking.

As ever Wenger has (saving) money on his mind, seeing Taarabt as a much less pricey option compared with the £15million plus wanted by Crystal Palace for Zaha.
