Leeds takeover close

Fear not Leeds fans, you won’t have to put up with Ken Bates’ wispy beard and ridiculous glasses for much longer.
The club’s prolonged search for a takeover is finally, FINALLY ready to happen according to BBC, which fans of the Whites will consider an early Christmas present.
Kenneth William Bates has been in charge of Leeds since 2005 after he failed to take control of Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday, which made him an immediate favourite at Elland Road *facepalm* and he continued his hero status when he dragged his new club into the third tier of English football and also administration. Good going, Ken.
The £44m takeover from a Middle East-based group is now a matter of days away if Bates can manage to dot the I’s and cross the T’s without causing some sort of mayhem, so Leeds fans, get the bubbly ready.
