Debuchy disappointed with failed Tyneside move

Hardly surprising news this, which Frenchman wouldn't be disappointed at seemingly being the only Gaellic man who was refused a move to Newcastle?

L'Equipe this morning are suggesting that France international full-back Mathieu Debuchy, who was pursued relentlessly by Alan Par-, sorry, by Graham Carr and Newcastle United all summer, is disappointed that his move to St James Park fell through and hopes that it can be resurrected in the future.

At what point in Alan Pardew's eight-year (yes I repeat, EIGHT-year) deal that may be, remains to be seen.
