Sam Ready For Rio Return

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has opened the door for Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand to make a return to Upton Park.

Whilst Big Sam is aware a move for the 34 year old is a long way off he has told The Daily Mirror he interested in signing Ferdinand.

However there is just one (big) but(t); Rio will only become available if United and Ferdinand don't agree to a new contract before the summer and even then Allardyve acknowledges 'everything has to be in place'.

It could happen though.
