Dyche is unsure on Austin’s future

New Burnley manager Sean Dyche was not given any assurances that Burnley wouldn’t sell Charlie Austin in January.

Austin has become hot proper for many managers as he is the top scorer in all four English league divisions having already scored 18 goals for the Lancashire club.

Dyche has said that he didn’t spoke about Austin’s future as it is a matter that is out of the control of his as a manager. Obviously the 41 year old will want to have Austin for the duration of the season especially while he is in the goal scoring form he is in at the moment.

But for the man who takes charge of his first match on Saturday he has seen it all before with a club that need to cash in on their best players to aid their financial problems. When Dyche was at Watford his best forward Marvin Sordell had to be sold to help bring in much needed funds.

If Austin’s future remains uncertain during the transfer window, Burnley may look to cash in on the inform striker to boost their funds and infrastructure of the club.
